At firsts I want to congratulate to your BYOB products. I had a lucky long weekend to listen music through your DAC and amplifier, thanks to my friend Peter (Penna hu).
The first impressions were already very good and I had to overcome on a light shock. I had to reconsider my way of thinking on amplification and DA conversion. I’ve spent lot of time to improve my record and CD collection and improvement of the listening of music.
I have (had…) a very good system, balanced and sounding very-very good. Turning on your DAC and few minutes later the amplifier, really shake my world’s basis.
We were only listening music one CD after one it took until 4 o’clock in the night. (3 nights all together, as I have 3 beautiful kids 0.5, 3.5, 6.5 years old and we had to wait until they fell to sleep) Truly to say we had to walk few times to the speakers and to amplifier to check how the sound is coming out. Sometimes it looked really impossible!
It was one of my lifetime experiences that I’ll remember forever and I want only thank it to you. You’ll get my order through Penna, I’m waiting for it.
One of my colleagues came to me on Friday and he nearly collapsed on shock he got from the sound. He was a musician, playing in orchestra (classical) and due economical reasons he had to give up and start at a more down to earth position, driver. Now I’m supporting him to help to improve his system. He was crying!!! With big tears, as he felt himself immediately in the middle of an orchestra and he remembered everything.
So it was a marvelous weekend, the only pity was to give everything back to my friend. I’m waiting to receive them again.
