My experience of listening to music has been completely transformed since acquiring Charles Atlmann's BYOB amplifier and Attraction DAC.

In brief, the stereo has disappeared, and I find myself face-to-face with the music.

The sound is lucid, vital and untreated: pure in tone, timing and dynamics.

Music is engaging and emotionally intelligible even at very moderate volumes.

The Attraction DAC doesn't compromise musicality for superb resolution.

When used with lossless files from a computer hard-drive, this DAC easily outperforms any CD playback system I've heard, and most turntables as well.

After years of striving to get closer to the artistic intent, and having made considerable investments in expensive equipment, I now find myself completely disinterested in gear.

It seems I've finally arrived at my destination!

After a full month of listening, I still can't bother to experiment with cables, spikes, etc.

And once I sell my old gear I will come out ahead financially.

Anyone who wants musical truth for a reasonable price should seriously consider Altmann's unorthodox and brilliant offering.
