The Altmann Micro Machines have landed!

Dear Charles,

I was so happy to discover that my AMM shipment was waiting for me when I got home this evening. My 18-year-old son Allen and I unwrapped it together. I had shown him the photos on your website and told him how hopeful I was that this equipment is as good as the website makes it sound.

Well, the smell of Christmas was waiting when we opened the box. I really like the smell of spruce, and, I must say, yours is the only audio equipment I know of that has it. But, as they say, I digress. When he saw the amp and DAC he said, „I really have a hard time believing that this stuff is going to sound good."

Hooking it up was simplicity itself. And from the first notes, all my worries were melted away by living, breathing music. And his eyes just about popped out of his head. Wow, wow, wow.

I could go on, but at the risk of boring you. I am pretty certain that you have shocked lots of customers in the past. Who could really be prepared for the performance of your products?

Your BYOB Amp brought my speakers alive in a way that my PX25 amp didn't even suggest was possible. Everyone is asleep in my household now, and I am listening to the vinyl version of Kind Of Blue. Even at very low volume, your amp is so dynamic.

I'm sure that this will only get better over time. I'll really enjoy the process. My son is incredibly impressed. And, even my wife listened to some music and truly enjoyed it, which has rarely been the case in the past. I think her ears must have higher standards than my equipment has been able to satisfy.

I don't know where your inspiration came from, and I don't know how you do it. But I am very grateful to you, and I'll do what I can to spread the word. In the meantime, I would like to stay in touch a little bit. Maybe give you some feedback in a couple of weeks. I hope you don't mind.

By the way, I wasn't expecting the wooden volume knob, but I really like and appreciate it. Also, I don't know if my version is Tube-o-latored or not, and I don't even know what that does. I'm just curious about it.
